James Ernest: one of my personal heroes

This was a pretty good anecdote by Lewis Pulsipher over on BGG.

James Ernest is one of my game design heroes, with a large back catalog that is slowly being revived as print and play over at Cheapass Games' website.

I follow him on Twitter, and have enjoyed catching snippets of the Kickstarter campaign for Unexploded Cow.  (No, I didn't back it.  It's a good deal, but I'm Kickstarted-out for a while.)

  1. Nice! Actually just discovered James Ernest the other day through his Kickstarter video for Unexploded Cow. We used a lot of what he did/said in his video for inspiration in finalizing our own Kickstarter page for Hipsters: The Card Game.

If you're interested (and that is to say, not too worn out on Kickstarter), you can check it out at www.hipstersgame.com. :-)

I love comments, but due to spam and tons of pathetic, entitled internet man-babies salty about me writing ONE post about sexism 3 years ago, I monitor all incoming traffic.

Pro-tip: writing a long-winded screed into a comment page on a several-year-old blog post on a deserted blog, where you shriek about how awful SJWs are is pretty pathetic. Especially since the moment you insult me, the chances of that post appearing is exactly ZERO percent.

Thoughtful posts should get approved within a day or two.
